Happy Mother’s Day!  Today we’re presenting the designs of Terriann!.  If you haven’t seen all the goodies in her store, be sure to stop by and see what she has to offer.  Here’s an adorable LO from anotherjenny of a beautiful little ballerina – she used Terriann’s Alphabet Soup template.

Since our Designers create such fabulous products, and since we’re featuring a Download – A- Day, let’s get to know the DSO Designers. Here’s a little more about Terriann:

*Tell us a little about yourself.    I am married with 4 kids, although only one still lives at home.  3 are married and I have 4 adorable grandkids.  I am an elementary school secretary – a job that I love.  I love to read, create and travel.  My computer goes everywhere with me so I can create whenever the inspiration hits!

*How did you get into scrapbooking?  I went to a paper scrapping workshop about 16 years ago.  I fell in love and it took off!  I was introduced to digiscrapping when a friend challenged me to try it out so I could show her how.  Well, I couldn’t turn down that challenge so I purchased Photoshop Elements and taught myself how to use it.  Once again I fell in love with it – scrapbooking with no mess!

*Where do you find your motivation and/or inspiration for the products you create?  I find inspiration in the things around me.  I am always sketching things I see that inspire ideas.  I have been known to ask co-workers if I can scan their clothing for color schemes and ideas!

*What made you decide to start selling, and how’d you end up here at DSO?   I decided to sell after a few freebies I posted on Scrapbook-Bytes were well received.  I applied to a few stores and DSO was one of them.  I had a fun interview with the ladies and it just felt like a great place to be.  Fortunately they accepted me and I have been happy as a clam here ever since!

*Do you have a favorite “style”?  I like to make textured papers with a bit of grunge – not a heavy grunge but just a bit.  When I paper scrap I always ink all my edges – if it isn’t inked it looks unfinished to me, so I try to dirty things up digitally the same way.

*Now that this is your career, do you find the time to still scrapbook for yourself?  When I can.  I get together with friends and we scrap.  Digi is great for that, I no longer have a trunk full of supplies that take 15 minutes to haul in.  I just pack up my laptop and I am good to go!

*Out of all your products here at DSO, is there one your “most” proud of?  and WHY?  Wow, this is a hard question.  I feel like each product is my ‘baby’ when it is finished.   But, I would have to say the ‘It’s A Date’ series.  Probably because it can work on every layout and for everyone.  I love to see that little postmark stamp on posted layouts.  Plus – I really like having the date on pages!

*Do you host any chats or challenges here at DSO?  The template challenge is mine.  I really enjoy seeing all the different ways the same template can be used.
